Normally I wouldn’t post something so dumb and arbitrary however I still have nightmares about this game. When I was a freshman and high school a few kids were obsessed with this fucking game. I don’t know what their niche was, maybe they like the fear of stabbing themselves and living with one less phalange. Whatever it may be, these kids obviously had some family problems if they need to get their adrenaline pumping playing the knife game. And let me say this, these kids weren’t playing the game on them selves either, they would take turns and do it on each other. I don’t trust my friends to hold my phone never mind let them test their ‘speed’ in the knife game. What’s the consequence if you mess up anyways? Your friends finger is completely cut off and you’re just ashamed you didn’t get to finish. Anyways one day I was in ‘free period’ and I hear a huge scream. One of the kids was trying to beat the ‘group’ record and nicked the kids finger. He got him pretty good too. The kids right middle finger had a nice gash in it. Blood was spilling all over the library table and the tip of the knife was still in there. I remember staring right at it and thinking, ‘why would he use his right hand? He’s a righty.’ I can still see the tip sticking out. Ah happy place, take me to my happy place.
Now we have this girl playing the knife game singing a song about chopping her fingers off just to entice people. I’ve never rooted for a people to cut their finger off more than this girl. I actually watched it twice hoping that the result would change. Maybe next time.
