Not a big deal or anything but I just crushed the Wonderlic Test. For you that don’t know the Wonderlic is an evaluator to test a persons capability to learn and problem solve in a timed environment. The standard test is 50 questions and to be completed in 12 minute as the picture states above. I obviously didn’t take the actual Wonderlic but ESPN and a few other sites offered up a small sample of the test so I took 15 questions and I allotted myself 3 min and 10 seconds. Now they say if you score a 10 you’re literate which is a plus for some of you. So let’s say that’s the absolute bare minimum you should be scoring on this thing. Now if you’re a average person you are going to scoring around the 20 range. And if you’re rather intelligent, you’re scoring high 20s to the 30 range.
I did a quick wiki search and they state these score are where you match up in the common world:
- Systems Analyst – 32
- Chemist – 31
- Electrical Engineer – 30
- Engineer – 29
- Programmer – 29
- Accountant – 28
- Executive – 28
- Reporter – 28
- Teacher – 28
- Copywriter – 27
- Investment Analyst – 27
- Librarian – 27
- Electronics technician – 26
- Salesperson – 25
- Secretary – 24
- Dispatcher – 23
- Drafter – 23
- Electrician – 23
- Nurse – 23
- Bank teller – 22
- Cashier – 21
- Firefighter – 21
- General Clerical worker – 21
- Machinist – 21
- Receptionist – 21
- Train Conductor – 21
- Skilled Craftsman – 18
- Security guard – 17
- Welder – 17
- Warehouseman – 15
In the 3 minutes and 10 seconds which absolutely flies by when you’re doing this thing, I hit 9 of 15 questions. This test isn’t about answering all the questions but more about answering the right ones. If you don’t know the question, skip it and give yourself a chance at the next one. If you translate my 9 of 15 that means I would of scored a 30 on the actual Wonderlic. Now does that mean I should of been an Engineer? Maybe, my dad would like to think so. But it more says that I’m slightly smarter than the rest of the morons in this world. However this whole blog isn’t about me being a genius. It’s part of it but not completely. It’s about the dumb ass’s that scored under 10. If I was sleeping, hung over, and puking I could answer 10 questions in 12 minutes on this test. I mean come on. Look at these people that scored all time lows on the Wonderlic.
- Morris Claiborne – 4
- Frank Gore – 6 (3rd-round pick in the 2005 NFL Draft)
- Travis Henry – 7 (2nd-round pick in the 2001 NFL Draft)
Those are some embarrassing scores. If you can’t answer: If I need to buy 10 feet of rope and it cost 2 dollars per foot. How much will it cost me? Than you should just quit life completely. You have no place in society for you. You have 12 minutes and you get 4 right. I can’t even fathom that. You wonder why American is being taken over by the Asians, their Wonderlic is probably 200 questions and you must finish in 6 minutes with a score of 90% or be sentenced to death by ninja star.
